The foremost Gypsy guitarist in the world and a legend amongst European Gypsies, Debarre has astonished British audiences with his virtuosity for the last six years. He’s one of the most versatile guitarists of our time and is the recognized master of the style originated by Django Reinhardt and Stephane Grappelli at the Hot Club of Paris. Formed in 2000 the Angelo Debarre Quartet has been stunning audiences Europe wide with their cutting edge approach to the later period of the Reinhardt repertoire.
He tours the UK with three of this country's most prolific musicians: Christian Garrick (violin), Dave Kelbie (guitar), and Andy Crowdy (bass).
